Honey Overnight Oats for Your Health and Wellness

Honey Overnight Oats for Your Health and Wellness

Eating healthy requires planning and preparation. A healthy breakfast can be especially tough; getting the kids ready for school, showering, getting ready for work, all the rushing around after an early morning workout doesn't exactly leave much time for cooking. Breakfast is an essential part of starting your day off right; it can make it or break it. If your goal is to feel energized, happy, and productive sugary cereals are not an option. Neither is sticking a pre-made waffle in the toaster.

Make Honey Overnight Oats and grab nutritional wealth out of the fridge in the morning. Prep time is also minimal so you won’t be up cooking all night either.

The almond milk, oats, chia seeds and honey in this recipe are all superfoods full of health benefits. The oats are great for digestion and contain a number of essential vitamins and minerals. The chia seeds contain Omega-3 Fatty Acids and almost all the carbs in them are fiber. Our Esparcet honey is great for helping your immune system thrive and is also a great sugar replacement.

The blueberries are just a suggestion; you can certainly play with what kind of berries you put in the mix.

For a dairy-free option try a coconut milk yogurt; it is delicious and contains some healthy fats essential for brain health.

1/2 cup almond milk

1/2 cup old fashioned oats

1/2 cup greek yogurt

2 teaspoons of our Esparcet honey

1 teaspoon of chia seeds

1/2 cup blueberries

Mix ingredients in a glass mason jar or container. Refrigerate overnight. In the morning, you can add a little more liquid and top with nuts, coconut flakes, and mint if you would like. Enjoy!
