Honey Mustard Brussels Sprout Salad with Cranberries and Pecans

Season’s greetings! We bring you yet another delicious recipe with honey that is sure to leave your loved ones speechless. This healthy salad is meant for vegans and meat eaters alike. Thanks to autumn’s bountiful harvest of cranberries, brussels sprouts and pecans, this dish will surely be a seasonal favorite.



  • 12 oz. Brussels sprouts
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries chopped
  • 1/3 cup pecans broken into pieces

Honey Mustard Vinaigrette

  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/3 cup olive oil (5-6 tbsp)
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp sea salt


Prepare the sprouts by cutting off their ends and shredding them in the food processor. You’ll want to slice them as thinly as possible if you’re going to use a knife. The honey mustard vinaigrette is super easy to prepare, all you have to do is combine the vinegar and the mustard, to which you add salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder. Then, you whisk in the honey and proceed to slowly drizzle the olive oil until all ingredients are mixed well. Add the shredded sprouts to a bowl, together with cranberries and pecans. Drizzle the honey mustard vinaigrette and mix well. Bon appetite!

TIP: This salad can be served either stand alone or as a side dish. You can add bacon for an extra kick.
